pakana services is an Aboriginal land management and maintenance team providing reliable service while giving Aboriginal Tasmanians the opportunity to work on the land.
We provide contracting services in all areas of land management, conservation works and maintenance and have a comprehensive and compliant Work Health and Safety System.
Services include: brush cutting; weed control (spraying, cut – paste and hand weeding); fencing; tree planting; seed collection; track construction and maintenance.
pakana services is seeking suitably qualified and willing workers for the following roles:
Ongoing acceptance of applications to be on the casual field worker register.
An exemption has been granted by the Anti Discrimination Commission to allow priority for these positions to be in favour of Aboriginal persons. pakana Services is hosted by NRM South and successful applicants will initially be contracted by NRM South.
