Threatened species revegetation

Miena cider gum (Eucalyptus gunnii ssp. divaricata).

Endemic to Tasmania and nationally recognised as a threatened species, the Miena cider gum required a high degree of protection in order to establish seedlings as they are considered very tasty to the local fauna and will be quickly demolished if left unguarded.

This revegetation project, undertaken by pakana services, has had a 99% tree survival rate.
